The 645-room resort includes a large game room with pool and Ping-Pong tables, an Internet center, and a business center. Children enjoy their own supervised activities. Nightly, the resort's entertainment/activities staff presents a show in an open-air theater before adults head to the casino or disco. Shopping and touring historic sites such as the grave of Columbus entices guests to Santo Domingo.

La Cotica - This open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, with theme selections presented in the evenings, along with international choices such as roast beef and made-to-order pasta.

El Pelicano - Not part of the All-Inclusive Plan, this restaurant is built over the Caribbean and features seafood for lunch and dinner. Reservations required. Men are requested to wear long pants and shirts with sleeves.

Rooms
This resort offers 603 guestrooms overlooking tropical gardens and a white-sand beach. Rooms are painted in bright, tropical colors and have terra cotta–tile floors and rattan and wood furniture. Guestrooms are also outfitted with walk-in closets and bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. The resort purifies its water but recommends drinking complimentary bottled water, which is provided. Rooms are available only in the All-Inclusive Plan.
All-inclusive rate includes: unlimited food and drink, Dominican alcoholic beverages, house wines with meals, non-motorized water-sports equipment, all resort fitness and recreation facilities, activities and entertainment, supervised children's club (ages 4–12).
