Popular with Dominican families for weekend visits, the resort serves an international clientele seeking a moderately priced Caribbean getaway.
A quaint tractor-pulled tram transports guests all day between hotel and the beach, which is furnished with lounges and served by a bar and a fast-food restaurant that are both part of the All-Inclusive Plan. Walking to the beach takes 10 minutes. At the hotel are two small pools, one for activities and the other a "quiet pool" for relaxing.

The 336-room resort consists of 45, two-story villas (no elevators) in tropical pastels with green metal roofs. Tropical gardens and expansive green spaces provide a lush ambience. Among the facilities is a small, air-conditioned fitness center containing a massage room, men's and women's saunas, and a four-person hot tub. The resort purifies water but recommends drinking complimentary bottled water.

El Pilon - The resort's main restaurant, El Pilón serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. For fast foods such as hamburgers and pizza, it reopens from 11:30 PM until 1:30 AM.
Firenze - Serving Italian dinners à la carte, this intimate, non-smoking spot under a low wood ceiling is available to guests once per week during their stay. Reservations required. Men are requested to wear long pants.

This resort offers 336 rooms in two-story villas. The villas are located on 16 acres of tropical vegetation, bordering a championship golf course. Rooms and suites all have furnished balconies or patios with views of the resort’s gardens or the golf course. Decor is tropical plantation–style, with pink walls, red terra cotta–tile floors, dark-wood and rattan furnishings, and floral-print bedspreads and draperies. Contemporary bathrooms include tub/shower combinations. Rooms are available only in the All-Inclusive Plan.
