A long, narrow garden containing ponds and fountains runs down the 500-room resort's center, inviting strolling during cool mornings and starlit evenings. Facilities include an open-air theater for nightly shows presented by the resort's staff and band, a massage center, and a supervised children's club with adjacent playground and pool.
Dining
El Batey de la Costa - This open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets of international selections.
El Pescador - Serving the same menus as El Batey de la Costa, this beachfront restaurant also presents breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. From 11 PM until 2 AM, this is the place for fast foods such as burgers.
Las Olas - Open for lunch and dinner, this open-air, ŕ la carte place specializes in grilled foods. Reservations are required for dinner. Men are requested to wear long pants and sleeved shirts. At 11 PM, Las Olas becomes a disco with dancing on two levels—one under a thatched roof and the other on a wood deck overlooking the sea.
Chez Fontaine - Not part of the All-Inclusive Plan, Chez Fontaine is a small, intimate, candlelit spot offering ŕ la carte choices such as crab gratiné and lobster prepared various ways. The resort includes two pool bars, a beach bar, a bar in the open-air theater, and a bar in the disco open until 2 AM.
Policies
There are no room charges for two children under the age of 2 occupying the same room as their parents. Rollaways and cribs may be available and should be requested at the time of booking; fees may apply.

Rooms
Spacious guestrooms include cherry-colored furniture, brightly colored fabrics, two cushioned chairs, and a table. Many, but not all, rooms provide a balcony or patio. Bathrooms offer a tub/shower combination. A mini-bar comes stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, and beer as part of the All-Inclusive Plan. The resort purifies water but recommends drinking bottled water. Rooms are only available in the All-Inclusive Plan.
All-inclusive rate includes: unlimited food and drink, Dominican alcoholic beverages, house wines with meals, non-motorized water-sports equipment, all resort fitness and recreation facilities, activities and entertainment, supervised children's club (ages 5–12).
